Death, taxes and worn out tyres are things that are always with us.
As we all know, the price of tyres can vary drastically. The identical tyres from one supplier can cost 30 or 40% more from another.
If you have never bought tyres online, next time you need some might be a good time to start.
On our classified section we have got two tyre suppliers listed Mytyres and Blackcircles. The sites are very easy to use, just click on the banners and you will get a quote in moments. (Try getting an online quote from ATS and you will be pulling your teeth out by the end!!)
Each of these suppliers offer a supply only (great if you have your own fitting facility) or supplied and fitted. However, if you need them supplied and fitted each has a large number of outlets and in most places also offer a mobile service (though that adds around £10 to the cost).
On a very basic price check we found (on a 215/75/ r16 Transit) tyre Black Circle beat the big brands,National, ATS and Kwik fit by very significant margins National came closest but were still £11.80 per tyre more expensive (on a supply & fit basis)
Mytyres are very strong on specialist tyres (for instance I ordered a set of winter tyres for my alpine jaunt this winter and they came in at an excellent price whereas many retailers look think you have the plague if you request winter tyres.

Customer Testimonials
"Great, really helpful site." "I was very pleased with the quick response I got to my listing. What I was very pleased with is that the bidding opened at £270 (which incidentally is much lower than quotes I got from companies I got from Yell) and I ended up with a quote of just £198 and Peter who did the job was absoloute darling!" "What surprised me is that there are actually REAL, helpful, human beings supervising the site who answer your questions.
As a time and money saver this is a winner.
